HIRZEL, Christopher Alan 53, of Farmersville Ohio, died Sunday March 21, 2010 at the William S. Middleton Memorial VA Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Chris was born in Amherst on March 27, 1956 to Barbara and Roger Hirzel. He moved, with his family, to Wellington in 1968 and was a 1975 graduate of Wellington High School. In 1976 Christopher joined the United States Marine Corps and served for 6 years. He worked for over 25 years with Centimark Roof Systems as the office manager. Chris enjoyed fishing and listening to music. Chris was very grateful to a loving stranger who, on June 12, 2005 saved his life by donating a lung. Chris in survived by his parents Barbara and Roger Hirzel; a son Josh Bradley; 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Hayley Bradley, all of Wellington; 2 sisters Lynn Obechi of Amherst and Karen Rossell of Wellington; and a nephew Ben Rossell, and a niece Annette Obechi. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents and in 1978 his brother Brian. Friends will be received Friday March 26, 2010 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the Norton- Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington, where services will be held on Saturday March 27 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. Donations in Chriss memory may be made to an organ donation charity of choice.
