Odetta Mae Puckett Brough, 86, died February 4, She was born May 2, 1914 at Sapulpa, OK. the daughter of Berney and Mary Dillard Puckett. She married Fred Dale Brough December 24, 1944, in Great Bend. He died December 24, 1977. A longtime resident of Great Bend, coming from Hotchkiss, Colorado, she was a food service worker for Barton County Community College and Great Bend public schools lunch program. Mrs Brough was a member of Rebecca Lodge, Veterans of Foreigh War Auxilliary, AARP and Royal Neighbors. Survivors include one stepdaughter, Phillis Caldwell of Lyons; one brother, Kelly Puckett of Great Bend; two sisters, Maxine Oller of Great Bend and Billie Jean Lord of Mobile, Alabama; two stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Berniece Reddick, Mable Marie Puckett and twin Odessa May Drake. Graveside service will be at 2 P.M. Thursday at Great Bend Cemetery with the Rev. Don Paden officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, all at Fryberger Mortuary in Great Bend.
