Harold N. "Brownie" Brown, 73, of 1110 Baldwin St., died on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family and friends.Brownie's wife, the former Patricia A. Clark, died on Jan. 5, 2008. Brownie was affiliated with the Lycoming Centre Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy Sea Bee's. He was retired from the truck driver's teamsters local 776, a member of Masonic Lodge 106 F. & A.M., Williamsport Consistory, Zafar Grotto, enjoyed NASCAR, watching football, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.Brownie was a truck driver for Branch Motor Express and St. Johnsbury, retiring after 31 years of service.Born March 19, 1936 in South Williamsport, he was the son of Norman and Eunice Keller Brown.Surviving are a son, Scott H. (Ann) of Millersville; daughters, Stacie L. (John) Johnson of Nescopeck, Holly A. (Jeff) Morgan of Williamsport and Kimberly E. (Eric) Hesen of Millersburg; sister, Jean A. (Harold) Ardrey of Williamsport; grandchildren, Joel, Megan, Jeremy, Chelsea, Robert, Samuel, Zachary, Tyler and Caden.Brownie was predeceased by brothers, Avery Keller and George Brown and sisters, Dorothy Dapp, Alice Fischer, Gladys Reeser and Pauline N. Brown.Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., with the Rev. William J. Younger. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park.The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 204 or to the American Diabetes Assoc. 3544 N.
