MANGRUM, John William Sr. 72, of Clearwater, passed away on March 24, 2010, at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. He was born on May 5th 1937, in Rock Hill, SC. He graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1955. He was transferred to Sears in Tampa in 1963 and retired after 35 years of service. He was also a Deputy Sheriff for Hillsborough County for 12 years. He is survived by a son John Mangrum Jr. and wife (Deborah), Raleigh, NC; three daughters, Dawn Marie Mangrum Blackwell (Dwayne), Mary Stephanie Mangrum Reynolds (Steve), both of Gaffney, SC, Lesa Rene Mangrum, Warrensville, NC; two brothers Bobby Mangrum, Rock Hill, SC and (deceased) Mickey Mangrum, Chester, SC; sister Debi Mangrum Roberts (Mike), Rock Hill, SC; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Viewing Friday, March 26th 2010, from 6 pm - 8 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater. The family will receive friends at Green Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White St., Rock Hill, SC. Memorial Services at Monday, Noon in the chapel with officiating. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, 620 South Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC following memorial service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Assoc. ww.mossfeasterclearwater.com
