Mrs. Katie N. Castle, 85,died Friday, April 2,in Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness.
Born September 24, 1895, in Johnson County, she was a resident of Sitka.
Surviving are six sons, Clarence, New Albany, IN, James, Christianburg, OH, Elmer and Noah, Mt. Gilead, OH,Clifton, Edison,OH, and Clinton, Urbana, OH;a daughter Louella Conrad, Montrose, MI;27 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday,April 5,in Old Hood United Baptist Church with Florida Lyons and Burnso Wheeler officiating.
Burial was in Marvin Sparks Cemetery, Blaine, with Preston Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
