Jana Jackson, 47, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2004. Visitation is 1-4pm today at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 10 am Monday at Park Place Baptist Church with a 3:30 pm graveside at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis. Her husband Greg is quoted by simply saying, "Jana is my best friend, the love of my life, the mother of our children, a truly caring and loving soul." Jana's passion is her family, church, and job. She worked for the Mississippi Supreme Court and dreamed of one day returning to her role as a stay at home mom, but knew she was where God wanted her to be with the Supreme Court. Jana worked hard in the Brandon Community. She and her husband Greg, were president of the Brandon High School Band Boosters. This job was a lot of hard volunteer work, and she loved seeing the children grow up and prosper in school and life. Jana was a faithful member of Park Place Baptist Church and utilized her organizational talents by managing the Singing Christmas Tree Production. She supported international missions by taking care of our home while her husband and sons were somewhere in the world sharing the love and salvation of Jesus. Survivors include her husband, Greg of Brandon; children, Rob, Andy, Katie and Will of Brandon; parents, Wallace and Anna Cathryn Ball of Memphis, sister, Jodie Ball of Memphis, brothers, Sid and Dan Ball of Memphis.
