Lucille M. Beaty, 75, of Alton, died at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at D'Adrian Convalescent Home after eight months of failing health.
Born in Alton, daughter of the late Ephraim and Lela (Reed) Alexander, she married Theodore L. Beaty in June 1931, and he died Jan. 22., 1975.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Fischer of Godfrey; one son, Robert E. of Godfrey; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Bagley of Alton.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church in Alton with the Rev. John Vidakovich officiating.
Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
Memorials may be given to the church, where she was a member.
