He was a retired Frisco Railroad machinist and farmer. He was a member of Nixa Church of Christ, where he had served as a deacon and elder for 22 years. He is survived by his wife, Mamie, to whom he was married May 16, 1925; three sons, Roger and his wife, Beulah, J.D. and his wife, Vera, and Jack and his wife, Peggy; daughter, Lalla Thomas and her husband, Frank; sister, Faye Reigert; two brothers, Earl and Loren; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded In death by his grandson, Randy Fitzpatrick.
Burial Sunday, in Payne Cemetery, south of Springfield.
