Tracie L. Taylor, 48, of Kankakee, died Monday (Aug. 7, 2006) in Braidwood. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee, and from 10 a.m. Friday at First Church of God in Kankakee, until the 11 a.m. funeral service. Dan Morris will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Limestone Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Church of God, where she was a member.
Ms. Taylor was employed by Kankakee Community College for nine years. She was born April 7, 1958, in Kankakee, the daughter of Elmer and Delores Baker Outsen. She enjoyed sewing.
Surviving are one son, Jeremy Taylor of Bourbonnais; two grandchildren, Blake and Paige Taylor; her father of Kankakee; one sister, Cathy Alexander of Kankakee; and two brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Outsen of Canyon Lake, Calif., and Thomas and Kendra Outsen of Kankakee.
Her mother is deceased.
