Mrs. K.V. Northington died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Melton on Eighth Street. Services were held at the family home on Ninth Street officiated by Rev. W.B. Adkins since her pastor, Rev. R.M. Hammock was out of town. Mrs. Northington was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was loyal to her church duties. She was active in the Presbyterian Ladies Aid. She was secretary of the Library Association and an enthusiastic member of the Shakespeare Club. She had been a resident of Ballinger for many years, and formerly lived in Abilene and San Angelo. Her husband preceded her in death.
