Services were held December 8, in Forsyth City Cemetery. The Reverend Neal Wall officiated.
A native of Monroe County, Mr. Maynard was a cattle farmer and a Baptist. He was a World War 1 army veteran, receiving several medals.
Survivors include two sisters, Lois Jordan of Macon and Martha Moulton of Forsyth.
Hart's Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
