Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Center Point for Mrs. Bessie Ellen Boggess, 47, of Paradise, who died Thursday in a Charleston hospital from injuries received in an automobile crash near Bancroft, Putnam County. The accident occurred about midnight on Sunday and the woman was taken to a Charleston hospital but little hope was entertained for her recovery. Four others were less seriously injured in the crash but were taken to the hospital for treatment but all have been discharged. The victim is survived by her husband, B. A. Boggess; five brothers, John and Floyd Sillman, both of Poca, Walter of Pleasant Grove, Foy of Nitro, L. H. Sillman of Liberty; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Sandos of Evansville, Illinois, Mrs. Della Dulana of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Miss Mella Sillman of Chicago.
