DENVER, Colo. — Louise M. Anderson, 89, of Denver, Colo., died March 21 at her home. She was born April 29, 1920, in Ryan, Okla., the daughter of Frederick C. and Willie Pearl (Glazner) Sparkman. On Oct. 11, 1937, she married Lesley Anderson in Hutchinson. She was a homemaker and a resident of Denver since 1974, after raising two sons in Great Bend. During World War II, she worked for Bendix Aircraft Co. in California assembling aircraft radios.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Central Baptist Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Lesley; a sister, Theda Debes of Great Bend; and her two sons, Ron L. Anderson (and wife, Judy) of Estes Park, Colo., and Dan W. Anderson (and wife, Jill) of Breckenridge, Colo. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Casey Anderson of Breckenridge, Colo., and Heather Sterett and family of Salina, as well as step-grandchildren Sammi Coleson and family of Estes Park, Colo., and Seth Brawer of Miami, Fla. She also had six great-grandchildren, whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her brothers Herschel Sparkman and Carl Sparkman.
Services will be held Thursday at Horan & McConaty, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, Colo., with burial following at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
