Carbide Explosion Results in Death.
Willie Bucher Killed Instantly, When Carbide Plant Blows Up on Farm Near Onaga.

Willie Bucher was instantly killed early Sunday morning, when the carbide lighting system accidentally exploded at his farm home near Onaga.

Lighting a match inside the building housing the carbide plant caused the explosion.

Mr. Bucher has resided on the farm with his brother Joe for many years, the two living alone. He was 40 years, 9 months and 8 days old.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Coal Creek church, and burial in the Coal Creek cemetery.
