Died January 29, 1992

Woodrow Franklin Lowther, 74, of 1601 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Lowther was a retired used car dealer having owned Lowther's Used Car on Camden Avenue since 1941.

He was born in Idaho, a son of the late Clarence E. and Minnie Rowley Lowther. He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Gordon Lowther; three sons, William W. Lowther, Robert E. Lowther, and Dan L. Lowther, all of Parkersburg; two daughter, Sandra Juanita Peters of Parkersburg and Jessie Darlene Smith of Newark, WV; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bessie Ritchie of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Patricia M. Lowther in 1989; a son-in-law, David Peters in 1991; one infant child; one brother; and one sister.

The funeral will be 11 am Saturday at Kimes Funeral Home, Fifth Street, with Pastor Leon Valentine officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery North.
