Tommy Michael Joyce, 48, of Hurricane died Sunday,May 17, 1998, at home. He was a former employee of Pepsi-Cola, Nitro, a Baptist, and lifelong resident of Putnam County.
Surviving: wife, Kathy Jean Joyce; sons, Robert Michael of Winchester, Va., Adam Howard of Sissonville; stepdaughters, Christie Allen and Melissa Herdman, of Hurricane; mother, Mamie Z. Joyce of Scott Depot; sisters, Shirley Smith of Hurricane, Bonnie Graley and Joan Wiseman, of Scott Depot; brothers, Kenny Joyce of Hurricane, Larry Joyce of Scott Depot, Steve Joyce of Pliny, Bob Joyce of Tornado; one granddaughter.
Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapman Funeral Home, Teays Valley, with the Rev. Dewey Bourn and Pastor Jim McGehee officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Hurricane. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home
