Nancy Ann Peters, 73, of Petersburg, Michigan, passed away at 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
She was born in Deerfield, Michigan June 25, 1936 to Cloyd and Marie (Stout) Bice. She married George L. Peters July 16, 1955 at Angola, Indiana.
After her school years, Nancy was employed as a telephone operator. She had also worked for Sears, Roebuck Co. and Montgomery Wards Catalogue Department. She then worked as a bus driver for Summerfield School for 25 years until her retirement and then worked for the Dundee Farmers Market on M-50.
Friends may call on Friday from 3 – 8 PM at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Her funeral will be at the funeral home at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 20, 2010. Officiating will her friend, neighbor and pastor, Rev. Harold Raymond of the Amazing Grace Baptist Church, currently meeting in Bedford Township. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee.

Her survivors include her husband George, a son Steve (Suzanne) Peters of Indianapolis, Indiana; two daughters Susan (Don) Davenport of Rives Junction, Michigan and Catherine (Cathy) Peters of Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren Leslie and Dan (Jill) Davenport, Chris Peters and Mandy (Johnathan) Warner, Jeremy and Joshua Person; three great-grandchildren Elijha and Katie Warner and Ainsley Peters; one brother Bill (Lillian) Bice and one sister Betty Toth both of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Fredrick (Fritz) and a brother Wayne Bice.
