Mr. William Warner Brown of Route 1, Roanoke, age 62, passed away in an Atlanta hospital at 2:15 p.m. Monday, April 30.
Funeral services were held from the Pleasant Grove Church at Broughton at 3 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. Guy Bassett officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under the direction of Quattlebaum Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Owens Brown; one son, Cleo of Roanoke; two daughters, Mrs. Sara Workman of Fairfax and Mrs. Sue Johnson of Route 3, Roanoke; six grandchildren; three brothers, Noah, Abner and Charlie Brown of Roanoke; and three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Bassett, Mrs. Annie Cottle and Mrs. Dee Windsor of Roanoke.
