Mrs. Marjorie J. Wilt, 75, of 2696 Old Route 220, Duncansville, formerly of Hollidaysburg, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 1994, at Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness.

She was born Oct 18, 1918, in Hollidaysburg, the daughter of Thomas and Grace (Snyder)Benton. She married W. William Wilt on Aug. 22, 1940, in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are her husband, two sons: Bill of Hershey andRichard of Huntingdon, and four grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters: Ellen Leamer of Hollidaysburg and Barbara Ann Eagan and Marian of Phoenix, Ariz.

Mrs. Wilt was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.

She was a 1936 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.

WILT - The funeral of Marjorie J. (Benton) Wilt of 2 695 Old Route 220, Duncansville, will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Interment at Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will bel received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Tuesday at Plank,Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, where a wake service will be held Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rösch Palliative Care Suite of Altoona Hospital at the request of the deceased.l
