He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Rosemary Ann Findlay in 1985. He was also a member of the U.S. Senior Foreign Service and served in Laos, Japan, Malaysia, & Australia.
Survivors include four children, their families; his sister, brother, and eight grandchildren.
