Linda G. (Rex) Lehman, 62, York Springs died Sunday, March 21, 2010 her home. She was born Sunday, August 17, 1947 in Peach Glen, the daughter of late Hiram E. and Lenore (Starner) Rex.
Linda graduated from Biglerville High School in 1964 and from the Carlisle Business School in 1965. She was employed by Knouse Foods Inc. in Peach Glen as the Private Label/Export Manager for 42 years. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Recording Secretary for the church, assistant organist, pianist and chairperson of the finance committee. She was a teacher in the Sunday School Classes of her church. She also belonged to the Keystone Record Collectors. She was preceded in death by her son Travis A. Lehman.
She is survived by her husband Richard Lehman to whom she was married for 44 years. She is also survived by one son: Troy R. Lehman and his fiancé Maria V. Davis, Gardners; granddaughter Shaylee D. Lehman of Gardners; three sisters: Janet R. Stegner, Bismarck, AR, Ileane R. Breighner of Paradise, CA, Lois R. Alander, Las Vegas, NV, and one brother, Keith E. Rex, Aspers.
Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 25 Franklin Street, Biglerville with the Reverend William Stelger officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday, March 26 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Biglerville.
