DIED On the 7th inst., Mr. Wm. Loyd, of Pneumonia aged about 78 years. Mr. Loyd was born in New Jersey and while yet as young man emigrated to Washington county, Kentucky, from thence he removed to this county, where he remained until the time of his death. Mr. Loyd was one of the first settlers of this county, and was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was united with the Baptist Church while very young, and lived and died in that faith. A large circle of friends and relatives are left to grieve for the loss of one who was ever loved as a father, husband and companion. May his virtues live in the memory of him.
