The funeral of Millard L. Rice, Jr., a well-known young Darnestown district farmer, who died on Saturday last, aged 30 years, following a long illness, was conducted Monday afternoon from his late home, near Darnestown, Rev. J. W. Lowden, pastor of the Darnestown Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at Darnestown. Mr. Rice is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Helen Muncaster of this county, and two small children. He also leaves both parents, Mr. and Mrs. Millard L. Rice, Sr., of Darnestown; two brothers and two sisters. He was a nephew of Dr. J. Thomas Kelley, of Washington, whose farm near Darnestown he had conducted for a number of years.

The funeral of Millard L.
