Mr. Passmore was born June 8, 1927 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. He left Oklahoma with his wife Jackeline in 1948 to work for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline in the Texas panhandle. 38 years he retired and the moved on to the piney woods of east Texas. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He survived by his wife Jackeline; children, Susan Floyd and husband Howard of Blackwell, Oklahoma; Coy Gene Passmore of Gilmer; Dixie Cass and her husband Lew of Longview, seven grandchildren; Stason Streagall, William Floyd, Jennifer Floyd, Elizabeth Smith, Christopher Lew, Abel Cass, Paxton Cass, and ten great-grandchildren.
