ADA, Jan. 5 - Services for Mrs. Katherine Louella Mankey, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Lantz funeral home, Ada. The Rev. Fara Laman will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
Mrs. Mankey died at 5:20 a.m. Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Firestone, Findlay. She had been ill two years. She was born in Canton and married in 1884 to Isaac T. Mankey. He died in 1926. She was a member of the Ada Baptist church.
In addition to Mrs. Firestone, she is survived by three sons, John, Ada; William, Bucyrus; Ray, Lima; 17 grandchildren; great-grandchildren. A son, Charles, is dead.
The body will remain in Lantz funeral home where friends may call after noon Saturday.
