Katherine M. Arthur, 92, of Ironton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on September 5, 2009 at Kings Daughter Medical Center with her daughters June and Kathy and granddaughters Bonnie and Brianna at her side. The Portsmouth, Ohio native was born January 22, 1917 the daughter of the late Owen and Mary Davidson Cales.
Mrs. Arthur was a 1936 graduate of Ironton High School and a member of Zoar Baptist Church in Coal Grove. She retired in 1982 as a machine operator for Wilson's Sporting Goods in Ironton and had lived most of her life in the Ironton/Coal Grove area.
