This gentleman was born in NJ and at some time migrated south to Georgia. He was a dentist. He served in the Confederate Army as a Private, in Co. B, 2nd Battalion Georgia Infantry. After the Civil War, he lived and practiced in Savannah. He married Euphemia Theresa Holtzendorf from Berne Plantation near St. Mary's, Camden County, Ga. in 1858.
