William Judson McMurphy Sr., 64, Moultrie, died unexpectedly Monday in Tampa, Fla., while visiting there.

Death apparently resulted from a heart attack.

The body has been returned to Moultrie and will lie in state at the residence of his daughter-in- law, until placed in the church one hour before the funeral time.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday in Hopewell Baptist Church and burial will ensue in Hopewell Cemetery.

The Rev. J.D. Griffin will officiate, assisted by the Re. Morris Griffin.

Mr. McMurphy, son of the late Jim W. McMurphy and Annie Nix of Colquitt County, was born in Thomas County.

He was a Baptist by denomination.

A resident of Camilla at the time of his death, Mr. McMurphy had gone to Tampa for a visit.

He apparently died of a heart attack in his sleep.
