Mrs. Ralph Brown attended the wedding, Saturday afternoon, of Miss Christine Moore of Geneva to Mr. Burch Powell of Rochester, formerly of Hemlock. The wedding took place at the home of the bride's parents in Geneva and her uncle, the Rev. Jas. A. G. Moore, university pastor at Cornell university, performed the ceremony. Mrs. Powell and Mrs. Brown were classmates when students at Keuka college.

Christine Moore Powell of Palatine from 1957 to 1975 A memorial service for Mrs. Christine Moore Powell, 93, will be held at Colonial Acres Health Care Center in Golden Valley, Minn. Born May 24, 1911, at Geneva, in New York's Finger Lakes area, the first of six children of David and Effa Fisher Moore, she died peacefully on Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at the Covenant Retirement Community in Golden Valley, where she had been a resident since 1990. Her ashes will be interred at Glenwood Cemetery, Geneva, N.Y. Christine was a loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, teacher and friend. She graduated from Geneva High School in 1929, and Keuka College in Keuka Park, N.Y., four years later. Many wonderful summers and later summer vacations were spent at the family cottage at Kashong Point on Seneca Lake.
