F.M Lecher of Granville Succumbs
to internal malady
F.M. Lecher of Granville, Ia., died at the local hospital here on Tuesday. He was brought to the hospital suffering from an internal cancer and only lived a few hours after his arrival.
The remains were taken to Granville, on Wednesday morning accompanied by his son, Anthony Lecher, and the funeral will be held at that place on Friday.
Mr. Lecher was 68 years of age and was a native of Luxemborg, Europe. He had lived in Granville the past seven years. Prior to that he had lived at Sheldon and Hospers. His wife died last year. He is survived by ten children, most of whom live in the east.
