Tracey Dawn Mays, 39, of Westwood, died March 19, 2010, in King's Daughters Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born Feb. 21, 1971, to James and Cheryl Williamson Fields of Catlettsburg.
She was a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital, emergency department. She loved taking precious care of her patients. She was affiliated with Heritage Freewill Baptist Church, a graduate of Rose Hill Christian School and Rio Grande School of Nursing, enjoyed traveling and doing cross stitch. She was a very devoted mother.
She is survived, in addition to her parents, by her precious children, Tanner and Hannah Mays, both of Ashland; two sisters, Jimmie Lee Blanton and Beth McCarty and husband Lloyd, all of Catlettsburg, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at Steen Funeral Home - 13th Street Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Ed Cook. Burial will be in Aid Cemetery in Symmes Valley, Ohio.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 21, 2010, at the funeral home chapel.
