Dolores C. Mansholt, 78 of rural Smithboro died February 27 at 2:51 a.m. at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Hookdale with the Rev. Ray Fuller officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home.
Mrs. Mansholt was born March 31, 1910 in Hookdale to Louis F. and Flora (Brink) Greimann. Her marriage was to Lawrence F. Mansholt September 13, 1931 in Hookdale and he survives.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Eyman of Greenville, Mrs. Leo (Joann) Linton of Hookdale and Connie Mansholt of Staunton; a brother Enno Greimann of Greenville and a sister, Mrs. Daniel (Kendrith) Bolla of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Everett, Vernon and Wilfred and one great grandchild.
Mrs. Mansholt was a housewife and was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ in Hookdale, which has been designated as a memorial.
