Lucy was born to the parents of Henry Davis and his wife Lucy Field Davis on March 16 1821 in Northfield, Massachusetts.
She met and married her husband John Davis in 1844 in Massachusetts. After marrying they traveled westward first to Wisconsin, Iowa and made their final home in Boulder Colorado in 1878.
Of their union they had 6 children together. Lucy passed on March 7th 1884 in Boulder Colorado at the age of 62 and is buried in the Columbia Cemetery along side her husband in Boulder, Colorado, her husband outlived her by 14 years.
