Gunn, Spencer's brother. George swore on 7 November 1891 that his brother died from the effects of a fall from a horse at Sterling, Logan County, Colorado on 12 Oct 1876. George and Nancy filed for pensions on the same day: Sep 30, 1891 (she for a widow's pension and he for an invalid's pension).
