Son of Florance & Emma Brown, he was the husband of Lulu Manwaring, father of Robert Brown.
He was a one time manager of the Syracuse Ontario Biscuit Company. He also owned and managed store in Mexico, and after leaving that entered the merchandising business.
He went to church, was feeling fine until early afternoon when he was struck with a cerebral hemmorhage and died at approx 630 pm
