Mrs. Maggie Lee Boyd Crabtree, 76, Route 1, Prospect, died on Saturday, January 25, 1985, at West Side Hospital in Nashville.
A native of Giles County, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd and was married to the late Alga Thomas Crabtree. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 28, at Bennett May Chapel, with burial in Kedron Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Crabtree of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and Larry Crabtree of Nashville; four sisters, Mrs. Verda Ruth Wilson, Tanner, Alabama, Mrs. Lucille Lewis and Mrs. Dezzie Smith, both of Athens, Alabama, and Mrs. Irene Filbeck of Fayetteville, North Carolina; three brothers, James O. Boyd, Robert Boyd and William E. Boyd, all of Athens; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
