VETERAN OF THE U. S. ARMY~OBITUARY OF DONALD LEE "SHORTY" DEAR

PERRYTON -- Donald Lee "Shorty" DEAR, 64, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002.

Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church. Private family burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. DEAR was owner of Shorty Dear's Used Farm Equipment. He was honored in three counties as a livestock show supporter.

Survivors include his wife, Odie; two sons, Clint DEAR of Perryton and Clay DEAR of Fort Stockton; two daughters, Linda GARRISON of Canyon and Leca ADDISON of Seagraves; a brother, Edward DEAR of Spearman; and seven grandchildren, Nicole DEAR, Devin DEAR, Jasmine DEAR, Blake ADDISON, Brooke ADDISON, Riley DEAR and Ashton DEAR.

The family suggests memorials be to Perryton Activity Center, P.O. Box 829, Perryton, TX 79070; or Museum of the Plains, 1200 North Main Street, Perryton, TX 79070.
