Death of John Ungry.
John Ungry, one of St. Joseph county's oldest residents, passed away between 5 and 6 o'clock Friday evening at the family residence, eight miles south of Mishawaka, aged about 75 years. Mr. Ungry was quite a successful agriculturist and was well known. His wife passed away about 20 years ago. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jackson Green and Miss Sadie Ungry, and two sons, Daniel and Solomon Ungry, all of this county. Mr. Ungry was an ex-soldier.
The funeral was held last Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Tamarack church, the Rev. Mr. Heron officiating. Interment at Ferrisville.
