Gertrude retired from Sparrow Hospital after 13 years as an LPN. She previously worked at Mason General Hospital for 19 years.
She was a member of the Mason Art Guild for 40 years; a member of the Dansville United Methodist Church and enjoyed painting and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy in 1978; daughter Ruth Ann Cook; and daughter-in-law, Arline Hills; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter Janet L. (Mansil) Raymond; 1 son, Pete Hills; son-in-law Russell Cook; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildern and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Dansville United Methodist Church, Dansville, MI. with the Rev. Steve Ezop, Chaplain of Heartland Hospice, officiating.
