Enlisted in the US Navy 1 Dec 1947. Graduated from USNS Electronics School at Treasure Island, CA. Received rating ET3. Served aboard the USS Manuel, USS Hubbard and USS Alshain. Honorable Discharge 28 Nov 1951.
Employed by Boeing Airplane Co., Wichita, Kansas, in 1952, as a flight service mechanic.
Returned to La Junta in the fall of 1952, attending La Junta Junior College. He moved to California in the summer of 1953. He later spent many years working as a TV Repairman, then as an appliance repairman.
He was a wonderful big brother to me. He was always there for me. I loved him so much and miss him every day.
