Elbert H. Foltz, 87, of the Oakland-Brocton area died 4:30 a.m. Wednesday (Dec.12, 1979) in Hilltop Nursing Home, Charleston.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Tabor Funeral Home, Oakland, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, rural Oakland.

Mr. Foltz was born in Coles County, son of Grant and Mollie Foltz. He was a member of Fairview Methodist Church, a 30-year member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and was a retired farmer. He married Grace Miller in 1914. She died in 1972.
