PAMPA - Woodrow "Woody" Clendennen, 82, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Rowe Cemetery at Hedley with the Rev. Lewis Ellis, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lefors, and the Rev. Brian Knowles, a Baptist minister, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mr. Clendennen was born in Hill County. He moved to Pampa in 1998 from Amarillo. He retired from the Fort Worth & Denver Railroad and worked for the Campbell Ranch. He was a member of Chaparral Hills Baptist Church in Amarillo.
He married Mildred Crawford in 1936 at Waco.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Betty Owens of Pampa; a son, Doyle Clendennen of Pampa; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, 800 N. Sumner, Pampa, TX 79065; or Rose Cemetery Association in Hedley.
