She was born April 27, 1867 in Weavers Old Stand near Mutual, Unity Twp, West.Co.,Pa. She died October 1, 1925 in Greensburg, Pa. Dementia as cause of death ( as written on death certificate) and is buried in Shirey's cemetery.
Alice was of German and Irish ancestry she lived her life as a traditional housewife. She was know for her harsh temper. She was an invalid for several years before she died, refused to eat the last twenty days of her life.
The January 1920 Federal census for the Dennison Precinct of Unity Twp., "roads south of Lincoln highway" listed Alice Myers as age 53, widowed, could read and write, spoke English, owned her own home and lived with her son Oda A. 20, a coal miner, daughter Nellie H. 18, and daughter Leona A. 13.
