Arcade Miller Jr., 74, passed away on March 18, 2010 in a Lake Charles hospital.
He was born in Hathaway and lived in Hayes, LA. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hayes, a retired Assistant Fire Chief for Bell City, Hayes-Holmwood Fire Department, a retired Inspector for the LA Department of Hwys, a graduate of Bell City High. He loved fishing and gardening. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who loved spending time with family, especially the grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Miller of Hayes; sons, Jerry Miller of Hayes, Michael Miller and wife, Fran of Bell City; daughter, Kim Miller Dubrock and husband, Keith of Hayes; sister, Celena Jeanise of Wichita Falls, TX; grandchildren, Kayla Fontenot and husband, Daniel, Klint Dubrock and wife, Lindsay, Ashley Miller, Michael Miller, Jr., Raimee Miller and Zachary Miller and great grandchildren, Ian Wade Fontenot, Christian Fontenot, Gabriel Dubrock.
His funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Hixson Funeral Home of Welsh. Rev. Jason Johnson and Gilbert Broussard will officiate. Burial will be in Hayes Cemetery.
