MARRIAGE: 22 March 1890 in Cass County, Indiana to Effie May Hudson. The marriage produced one daughter and ended with his death in 1893.

After his daughter's birth in 1891, Osa found his way west with his wife and baby to join his parents and siblings. His primary occupation seems to have been a farm hand often assisting his father.

He died at age 28 of consumption (tuberculosis) at his parents home. Osa was survived by his widow and daughter.
