Mrs. Nora Irene Stegall was claimed by death about 12:30 a.m. Monday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital. A longtime resident of this community, the 79 year old woman suffered a heart seizure the previous Monday and had been in a critical condition since that time.
Memorial services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Carl Grissom, pastor of First Baptist Church in Andrews, and W.C. Odom of Crosbyton officiated.

Interment was made in Crosbyton Cemetery, under direction of King Funeral Home. Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Born Jan. 18, 1895 in Dublin, she was married to the late James K. Stegall on Dec. 9, 1917 in Stephenville. Mr. Stegall preceded his wife in death on Nov. 8, 1972.

The family moved to Crosby County in 1926 from Eastland County.

Mrs. Stegall is survived by three sons, Irvin, Norris and Kenneth Stegall, all of Crosbyton; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Gregory of Lorenzo and Mrs. W.J. Jackson of Amarillo; a sister, Mrs. Russell Roberson of Dublin; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
