Born Oct. 19, 1934, at Florence, she was the daughter of Wilbert and Carolyn (Fitch) Carpenter.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Edwards of El Dorado; daughter, Diane McNeill of California; brother, Larry Lein of Newton; sister, Roberta Seibel of Newton; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at Baker Funeral Home, Peabody.
Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery, Florence.
