Entered U. S. Navy in 1942, trained in New Orleans and Mass. Served in USA. Awarded GC, Victory and ATO Ribbons. Discharged in 1945.
Survived by two daughters - Pamela Jane McQueen and Nancy Bell McQueen; his mother; four brothers - D.G. McQueen, J.L. McQueen, O.R. McQueen, T.D. McQueen; two sisters - Mrs. Claud Rathmell and Mrs. J.W. Caldwell.
