FRITCH - Ella Ruth Hawkins, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. David Jones, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Hawkins was a native of Harmon, Okla., and had been a Fritch resident for 42 years. She was a homemaker and member of the First United Methodist Church in Borger.

She married Oran Hawkins in 1946 at Woodward, Okla. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Kay Hawkins, in 1983.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Darrell Hawkins of Amarillo; three daughters, Sharol Thornburg of Garden City, Kan., Deanna Elliott of Amarillo and Kim Tossman of Columbia, Md.; a brother, Forrest Watkins of Quinlan, Okla.; three sisters, Mary Brown and Evelyn Thompson, both of Oklahoma City, and Lulu Mae Fark of Owasso, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
