Lucinda Anne Gonser was born April 14 1841, in Tuscarawas Co. Ohio. Her parents were John B. Gonser and Catherine Devore.
Lucinda moved with her parents to DeKalb Co., Indiana and left there for Ft. Dodge, Iowa in 1848. They moved from there to Mills co. in 1858.
Lucinda A. Gonser and Valentine Plumb were united in marriage March 14, 1861, in Mills Co. Iowa. To this union ten children were born.
She lived in Mills Co. the rest of her life. Her husband Valentine died March 2, 1882.
Lucinda was married to George L. Griffith in 1911. Lucinda died August 24, 1924 in Council Bluffs, Iowa and was buried at Wesley Chapel Cemetery
